Louvolite Clearguard™
A PROTECTIVE TRANSPARENT FABRIC FOR ROLLER AND PANEL BLINDS.
Our new transparent PVC screen helps to maintain protected contact during these times of social distancing. Made to measure, Clearguard systems are available as a low-cost fixed suspended blind, roller blind and as a panel blind for larger areas requiring protection.
Clearguard provides a barrier between interactions in shops, banks and other commercial buildings, helping to protect against sneezes and viral infections such as Coronavirus. The PVC Screens can be fitted to suspended ceilings and are easy to clean with sterilising spray. Louvolite Clearguard™ is flame retardant and available as three options:
Fixed Suspended Blind available as a standard size or made to measure.
System 40® Roller Blind with height adjusting crank or chain control.
Panel Blind with wand control. Available in 3, 4 or 5 track channel lengths as split or side draw.
Louvolite Clearguard™ is available in the UK and North America only
Louvolite Clearguard™ Operation
- FIXED SUSPENSION BLIND: Barrel clamp - Adjust the height of the fixed suspension blind's fabric support cord to the desired height with the barrel clamp.
- ROLLER/PANEL BLIND - MANUAL CHAIN/CORD CONTROL: Provides reliable, smooth operation and ensures the blind can be rolled up or down easily to achieve the required level of shading. Blinds with chains or cords must always be secured with a child safety device as the chains or cords pose as potential strangulation and entanglement hazards.
- ROLLER BLIND - CRANK HANDLE: Used with the System 40®, the crank handle is a 2 part control that consists of a strong, durable clutch which attaches to the system tube, and an aluminium wand that attaches and detaches from the clutch. Crank the end of the wand (available as either 1.2m or 2m) and rotate to raise or lower the blind. When not in use the wand can be stored away using a fixing ring or clip.
- PANEL BLIND - MANUAL WAND CONTROL: Sitting neatly at the edge of the blind the wand can be pulled side to side to fully open or close the blind.
